UK’s web blocking programme begins December 22, 2013 · by Ed · in Pirate Topic When I previously wrote about the UK’s Prime Minister (David Cameron) calling for web blocking, I finished my article with the conclusion that “It is likely that Mr Cameron will realise how unworkable his proposals are, and after conversations with the industry and campaigners followed by a series of increasingly vague speeches on the subject, they will be quietly dropped in the run-up to the UK’s general election in 2015.”.   The actions of UK ISPs this week, however, have proven me wrong.
