In November we had 40 things flattred by 18 unique users. In total we were flattred 92 times this month and received Euro 17.94 in support for our work. Compared to last month the flattr donations were fewer but it is still a substantial sum, that will help us expand our work for Pirate Times. We have yet to decide how to best spend the money but some ideas are; to pay for a custom-built wordpress plugin that would help us with our proof-reading structure, sending something small to the people working hard to produce the content on Pirate Times or helping with some of the costs we might have once we start translating Pirate Times to other languages. Either way the money will go to improve future articles written here on the Pirate Times.

Flattr is a microdonation service that allows you to give a small amount of money each month to content you would like to give support. It can be compared to a “facebook super-like” with money attached. Users act like patrons of work or people they want to support and  ”many small streams” adds up to something larger.
