Free Public Transport in Tallinn
When some German pirates first started to bring up the idea of a ticket less public transport they were laughed on by politicians from other parties. What those other politicians didn’t knew at that time was that something like this isn’t so unrealistic. In Tallinn it’s nearly real by now.

Introduction of the Pirate Party of South Korea

PPI’s New Board Carries Hopes and a Big Weight
Despite some facts that burdened the atmosphere of the general assembly, data and numbers show that PPI continues to inspire and attract Pirates worldwide. PPI accepted 14 new members, increasing the number of Pirate Parties in PPI to 42 countries . They also accepted a further six observer members, elected a new board and voted on some statute changes.

General Assembly of the German Pirate Party May 2013
On 10 – 12 may 2013 the general assembly of the German Pirate Party will take place in Neumarkt. This GA will mainly be focused on party policies in order to prepare for the elections in September.
But it won’t be only about party policies, it will also be about statue changes in order elect a few new members board. Two former members of the board already resigned and a third member of the board will resign at the GA.
Important motions for the GA are the motions about a permanent online GA in order to pass new policies quicker and to enhance the democratic processes in the german pirate party.
