Flattr Appreciation During Oct (5.24E) and Nov (2.59E)
Our Flattr income has decreased and last month it was at a level where we won’t even be able to pay for our hosting fees. We have been neglecting to push for Flattr donations lately, partly because we’re not sure if it’s the right place for us. Pirate Times needs to consider if we can’t find a better source of income (or additional sources) to cover the future costs for Pirate Times. Appreciate any ideas you might have on how to keep us funded! Thanks for the people that keep supporting us on Flattr.
In October 2014 we had 29 things flattred by 10 unique users. In total we were flattred 44 times in October and received Euro 5.24 in support for our work.
In November 2014 we had 9 things flattred by 5 unique users. In total we were flattred 15 times last month and received 2.59 Euro in support for our work.
Flattr is a microdonation service that allows you to give a small amount of money each month to content you would like to give support. It can be compared to a “Facebook super-like” with money attached. Users act like patrons of work or people they want to support and ”many small streams” adds up to something larger.
